Hakan has been practicing law for over 20 years. Prior to founding the Tunçaz & Türkmen Law Firm, Hakan served as a senior legal advisor in HSBC Turkey in charge of global and corporate banking for 10 years, and he worked for a while in HSBC Bank in London. Hakan’s areas of expertise are Banking and Finance Law, M&A, Money Laundering and International Sanctions, Corporate and Commercial Laws and Protection of Personal Data Law. Aside from professional consultancy services, Hakan continues to work at the Marmara University PhD program.

A. Haşim Tunçaz
Haşim has been practicing law for over 20 years. Shortly before founding Tunçaz & Türkmen Law Firm, he was acting as the senior manager in the Corporate and Commercial Non-Performing Loan Management Unit at the HSBC Bank A.Ş. Haşim’s areas of expertise are collection and structuring of receivables in arrear of financial institutions, and provision of consultancy services in these areas.
